The majority of the shared economy-based services that are currently available are services through a trust-based one-to-one network, which has the common ground of building a collaborative environment offline by mediating people online, such as the Web or applications. Some of the services, in particular, are designed to make it easier and faster to network between people located at close distances by utilizing location-tracking technologies such as GPS. One service that utilizes GPS is a car-sharing service such as UberX and Green Car. Designing vehicles that are closest to a user's location, the service is immediately available and is gaining positive feedback from users by enhancing usability, convenience and accessibility. Convenient and simple payment methods are also an important factor in shared economy-based services. By using credit card payments registered on smartphones without carrying cash or payment cards, the service process will be finalized by ensuring the loaner and the user in the service process or meeting mutual interests.

If you look at the overall service process of shared economy-based services that are currently in place, it is done through a process such as Table-1 . The first step is to create a user's need, during which the user finds and connects to a shared economy service that can obtain the necessary goods for the purpose of saving time and money. It will then optionally go through the identification process required within the shared economy service and search for goods that meet the needs of users. At this stage, the price, location, type and feedback provided by previous users are important factors of consideration that affect the selection and determination of the goods. After comparative analysis of goods of a similar level, the entity selects the goods that it considers most appropriate and makes a commitment between users and lenders (ie service providers) by paying the appropriate amount. Within a short period of time, the user obtains goods from the lenders and meets the ultimate purpose of using the services. After using the service for a specified time or period, users are required to selectively provide feedback procedures, which can be seen as an important step in promoting or hindering the use of the service by improving the quality of the service and providing other users with the right to know.

The possibility of a shared economy-based business model of the new system can be predicted by adding related technologies to existing shared economy services, along with positive forecasts based on the rapid pace of development of the Internet of Things. Some of the many IoT-related studies suggest structural design of smart environments with special purposes based on IoT technology. Typically, research suggests an automated smart warehouse environment and smart screening system by actively utilizing RFID technology. Judging from similar studies, they are generally seen as highly anticipated in automation, security and safety, and utilization of data through IoT technology. Not only are there possibilities of intelligent, automated, security and safety, and ubiquitous environment deployment, but there are also great uses expected, especially in the acquisition and analysis of information and data through sensor networks. Judging from these factors, the expected effect of shared economic services on the Internet of Things platform is largely proportional to efficiency and usefulness. 

In terms of efficiency, there is cost savings, time reduction, high accuracy, accessibility and safety, and in terms of usefulness, there is the potential for big data production from objects and the environment. One of the main features of the Internet of Things is that it is possible to produce and acquire various big data. Without human intervention, all data generated in the process of communication between objects can be stored through a filter process, which is an important topic of discussion about how to utilize the data generated. One simple example is the application of the Internet of Things to a courier service, which can simply assume that a smart tag is attached to a courier. By tracking smart tags that contain simple information such as callers, receivers, and logistics types, the company can secure accurate location and expected arrival time, as well as be used to understand the distribution of certain goods in Korea at a glance. Distributions of specific goods may also be used as data to identify where the goods are in high demand from an economic perspective and to regulate production or to vary the supply. In addition, the user's delivery service and analysis of purchase patterns of certain items can automatically lead to periodic delivery of goods. In addition to these areas of use, specific discussions on how to utilize data generated from shared economic activities should be developed, based on big data-related studies that utilize big data by generating patterns.

In terms of shared economy services, Internet of Things technology can be applied to commodity sharing services such as ShareSugar and Tool Lending. By attaching sensors or smart tags to goods, problems that have emerged prominently in existing services can be solved naturally without human intervention, such as checking the period of use, reservation, prevention of theft or loss, and prevention of tragedy in public land. Also, the Internet of Things is considered a key technology to create great added value by obtaining real-time information related to the product itself as well as the environment surrounding it. In terms of social awareness, the use of advanced technology will play a positive role in changing negative social perceptions (low cleanliness, anxiety, etc.) that come from existing shared activities. With the development of various information and communication technologies, including the Internet of Things technology, discussions on how to utilize the developed technologies in real life will continue.
